The project offers a mobile post-harvest processing service for women’s groups and small farms. It provides equipment such as a multi-grain thresher and a groundnut sheller, powered by solar energy, than can be delivered on a trailer. The truck also features a mobile shop which offers consumer goods, agricultural inputs and hardware. It offers rent-to-own of solar-powered devices, such as phone chargers, and its multimedia centre is used to increase awareness of e.g. agricultural best practices.
Using a digital marketplace, the project ensures distribution of goods, services and information to remote areas that are not reached by conventional distributors.
