PFAN’s workshop at NDCFI: “Accelerating decarbonatization to achieve climate targets: The role of the private sector”
Member States of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) are individually and collectively endeavouring to build their resilience to climate change and to transition to low carbon economies.
The Caribbean NDC Finance Initiative (NDCFI), a collaborative initiative of the OECS Commission and the Government of Saint Lucia, is hosting its 2nd NDCFI Forum from 5 – 7 July 2022 in Saint Lucia.
The in-person as well as virtual event gathers OECS Member Countries and important industry stakeholders to engage around the theme “Decarbonizing the Eastern Caribbean and building resilience to the impacts of climate change – energy, water, infrastructure, mobility, and finance”.
PFAN will host a workshop session titled “Accelerating decarbonatization to achieve climate targets: The role of the private sector” on Tuesday, 5 July 2022, from 15:40 – 16:50 (Saint Lucia Time).
PFAN’s Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) will moderate a round table focused on impact investment and critical opportunities to improve the carbon footprint in the region. PFAN Advisors, Loreto Duffy-Mayers and Ernesto Hanhausen will also be participating in the discussion.
