When should I submit an application?

Selected PFAN projects undergo intensive one-on-one coaching to perfect their business plans, financial structures and investment pitches. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, and you may submit your application at any time. Applications are evaluated on a quarterly basis after the regularly announced deadlines. If you submit just after the deadline for the next evaluation round, it may take up to three months before your application is evaluated. The application consists of an online form and two documents:

  • Project proposal
  • Executive summary

How to use PFAN’s Climate Invest Portal:

Complete the fields of the online registration form and click ”submit”. Fields marked with an * are mandatory.

Password creation: You will receive an email with a link to create your password. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, please contact registration@climate-invest.info. Your password must contain upper- and lower-case letters as well as at least one number.

You can then log in to Climate Invest using your email address and password.

Please note that the PFAN team needs to process your registration internally, which may take up to two days. Once this is done you will receive an email confirming your application can be submitted (once fully completed).

The online application form requests important summary details about your project. The information you provide here will be used for the evaluation of your project in addition to the project documents submitted.

Please ensure that the information provided in the form is consistent with your Project Proposal and other supporting materials.

The application consists of an online form and the following two documents to be uploaded (maximum total size: 20MB):

  • A Project Proposal (MS Word or PDF format, not more than 20 pages long (excl. annexes). This free-form proposal forms the core of your application and the evaluation will be mostly based on this document.
  • An Executive Summary (should be in MS Word format)

Other documents related to your business may also be uploaded (e.g. Commercial Register, etc.)

While completing your application:

Always save your application before leaving the page, so that you may continue it later (you will find it under Application Drafts). Only click the submit button when your application is complete.

You can create multiple applications in the system and submit them at any time. Applications can be worked on by multiple team members, each with their own accounts. If you would like to link a co-worker’s account to your application, please contact us.

Please do not forget to submit your completed proposal by clicking on the SUBMIT button.  Only proposals that have been submitted can be evaluated.

Your application will be evaluated in the next round of evaluations following your submission date (once a quarter, you will be informed about the outcomes of the evaluations latest within three months from submission).

In the evaluation review, a decision will be made on the kind of coaching support your project will receive. After your assigned advisor has signed a contract for coaching support, you will be introduced to your advisor and the coaching can officially begin.

If additional information is needed or your application needs to be revised, your application will be sent back and you will be notified via email. You will subsequently have the opportunity to resubmit your application with new information.
