Preparing your Executive Summary
This should be a one page description of the project, ideally to be written after the Project Proposal and Financial Model have been finished.
The following topics should be summarised:
- Overview of your company/project, implementation plan and current status;
- Current financial situation, proposed investment/financing ask;
- Shareholder/ownership structure, strategic partners/sponsors;
- Why investors should choose your project (unique competitive advantage, expected financial returns and impact attractiveness – social, environmental, gender equality).
