Hydropower Project in South Asia

The project of 45 MW capacities is a peaking run-of-river scheme and is located about 500 km from Kathmandu. The nearest airport is Tumlingtar situated approximately 95 km south of the project area. This project has acquired Survey License from DoED (Department of Electricity and Development), MOE, Nepal on 18th July, 2012 for 9.2 MW and later extended to 45 MW on 7th June, 2015. PPA was signed on 29th November, 2018.
