What Advisors do

Advisors are the core of our network

Are you an expert in clean energy, business development, climate finance, climate change mitigation or adaptation technologies and have experience in business coaching or investment facilitation?

The PFAN Network is made up of private-sector companies and individual experts that specialize in providing investment and financing advisory services as advisors and who can demonstrate a track record of deploying financing and/or facilitating financing for clean energy and climate change projects in developing countries. Please visit the PFAN Journey for more information.

The PFAN Network is an informal alliance of member companies, organisations and individuals. Being part of the network allows you to share your respective strengths, experiences, methodologies and resources in order to achieve PFAN’s goals and objectives. PFAN is designed to identify, nurture and promote local advisory expertise through the creation of in-country project development ecosystems and financing and consulting markets. We prioritise the assignment of local advisors to coach accepted projects, giving you the chance to advise up-and-coming entrepreneurs in your region and to expand your own network and expertise.

PFAN Advisors can:

  • be contracted to provide coaching services to selected PFAN projects, helping them to attract investment and reach financial close
  • access PFAN’s global network of investors and advisors
  • nominate projects for PFAN support
  • participate in PFAN events

Please note that PFAN does not pay retainers and does not contract on a time-rate basis, but instead pays fixed amounts against contract.
